Monika Thieme

Monika Thieme is a Partner in Odgers Berndtson's Warsaw office where her specialisations include the automotive, aerospace, construction and energy sectors. She also has extensive experience in senior assignments for a broad spectrum of multinational and local organizations.

Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson in 2010, she was with Heidrick & Struggles in Poland from 1997 to 2009 playing a significant role in the development of the firm and serving as the Managing Partner. Previously, from 1992 she was with Price Waterhouse in Warsaw.

Before this, in 1981, in the US, she worked for Logos Corporation (a machine translation software manufacturer) as an Expert System Developer, Marketing Specialist and Project Leader.

Early in her career, Monika was a university professor in Warsaw. Born and educated in Poland, she holds a PhD in computational linguistics. Besides her native Polish and fluency in English and French, she also speaks Italian and Russian, and Czech, Spanish and German.
